Moderation policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy sets out the content prohibited on easyroom.lu and the measures applied in the event of a breach. It supplements the Terms of Use.

Prohibited content and listings

Fictitious, false or misleading listings, or listings for a non-existent or unavailable property.

Unlawful discriminatory content (in particular based on origin, sex, religion, disability, sexual orientation).

Insulting, defamatory, hateful, violent content or content contrary to public order.

Pornographic, sexually explicit or shocking content.

Spam, unsolicited advertising, repetitive or off-topic content.

Scams, fraud attempts and requests for advance payment off the platform.

Inserting contact details into listing text in order to bypass the internal messaging system.

Infringement of third-party rights (counterfeiting, identity theft, photos without authorisation) or any illegal content.

How moderation works

Listings are subject to automated moderation upon publication. Content may also be checked afterwards and following reports from users.

Sanctions

Depending on severity: warning, taking offline, freezing (reactivation reserved for the administration), deletion of the listing and, where applicable, suspension or deletion of the account. These measures may be taken without notice where security, the rights of third parties or the law so require.

Appeal

You may challenge a moderation decision by writing to contact@easyroom.lu, specifying the reference concerned and your arguments.
